About Me
malta1

Hello, and welcome to Bernie's English!

My name's Bernie Zoettl, and I'm an English teacher.

Of course, I could simply write a short introduction about my qualifications, my teaching experience, etc. It might be the most professional thing to do on a teacher's website. But I figure it would be pretty boring, as well. And I don't think I'm boring.

So instead, I'll tell you a bit about my life, my interests and hobbies. (If you are primarily interested in my qualifications, you can always scroll down...)

So, who am I? What makes me happy?

First of all, most definitely my family! I'm married to a wonderful wife and we have two fabulous children. I love my family to bits!

Then, there's sunshine! I love summer, I love warm weather, I love swimming in the sea. So it's not hard to see why I teach English in Malta every summer.

Travelling is another thing that keeps me happy! I enjoy exploring new places and meeting interesting people from across the world.

And of course, I absolutely love languages! I have always found other languages fascinating. That's why I decided to become a translator and - more importantly, a language teacher.

If you want to find out more about me, why not join one of my conversation classes? I love chatting about all the things that make my students' lives - and my life - intersting 🙂

Or you could subscribe to my YouTube channel, where - besides exploring interesting aspects of the English language - you can also get to know me and my kids 🙂

Qualifications &
Teaching Experience
